Triple wings - will it fly better?

Isn't this just gorgeous? The butterfly is a Spellbinders die, cut and embossed in Amaco light weight copper. Then I soldered the copper wires to the top after shaping them into swirls. My soldering class is over and it's time for me to take what I learned about soldering silver and apply that to other mediums!

Once that was done, I did the flame painting on copper that I've blogged about before and painted the wires as well. I added a swarovski crystal to the center and put a penback on the other side.

Took all of 45 minutes and I have a new pen to wear tonight! Of course, I could easily turn this into a pendant as well! Such fun!!!
