Well, I’ve said it before and I will say it again….never belive what you think about a product on your first attempt to try it! Friendly Plastic. A product that has been around for years and years and maybe it’s time to bring it out of the box and think about new ways to play with it! I totally love it after just one day, have a zillion ideas for things I want to try with it….and think it may just be the next new thing to play with….well at least for those of use who consider ourselves to be the artist kind of crafter!
Here’s a collage of Friendly Plastic…the only other product incorporated into this is some Amaco mesh metal. Quite a few techniques to this….all totally fun!
And of course, I put this all on my journal cover, added some swarovski chrystals, and I am totally pleased with the end results!
Note: I always make a separate journal for each trip that I take. I decided to do my journal once I got here…and I am just so glad I did! For the background, I’ve used Scrapperdashery papers and a Cuttlebug embossing folder with Ranger Distress inks.
This little mini frame was quite fun to do. Simply cut strips of FP and let them fuse together, then slice it and create the frame. The hearts are made usin gmini punches.
And this is FP pressed into a Krafty Lady mold. I just love the effect it has on Asian coins!
Here’s a pair of layered mini frames. Just something a little different to do.
And....yep, there's more! A brand new SECRET technique....that we will share when it's totally perfected!!!! Stay tuned!!!
All this in one short day…and a couple of movies, Walmart, Lowes, Goodwill, and a drive through the country. Don’t ask me what I did in my spare time! I just figure I can sleep next week when I get home!
Wonder what we will come up with today!!!
