It's the New Year on the Jewish calendar - starting at sundown. I made this layout back in 2008 and still love it. It's framed now and hanging on the wall in my home. I love the poem. I haven't written anything new in quite some time.....feeling the urge to start again!
Since 2008, I've purchased my own shofar, and can blow it any time. I love the notes, the music that it plays. It's really quite a conversation piece. It's sort of like blowing a trumpet....makes my lips tickle!

To all my friends, far and wide, may you have a blessed new year, and may your name be written in the book of life for another year.
As a side note, this weekend is the Scrapbook retreat at the Abbey here in town. Hope to see you there!!!
