Passover

Tonight is passover. At sunset. I will be with mom, Colleen and her husband, and we will do a Seder. Why?

I was never taught that the "Last Supper" was actually a Passover meal. It was simply called the Last Supper. I took communion once a quarter in the Methodist and Baptist churches when I was growing up.

But in reading scripture over time and learning more about history, I have come to believe that Jesus would have been celebrating Passover and when he said to do it in remembrance of Him, he was talking about Passover.

My brother has done a Haggadah and you can download it here. If you read it and all 7 of the digressions, I think you will know.

I have to agree with him:

"Next year: We will hopefully attend a messianic Jewish Passover - Hopefully in Jerusalem!"

This is probably my all-time favorite painting that I have of mom's:

I'm on my way to spend a few days with her and I hope we can paint while I am there.

On this Passover eve, may your life be filled with truth and knowledge.

I like the watercolor also.

While I don't understand Hebrew, the words you wrote spoke to me tonight.
