Make your own embossing stencil with Sizzix dies

You can do last night's technique with any flat diecut out there on the market.....but Torrey's idea is just too cute!!!

So, she put glossy accent dots on the flower on the left.  Then she took a diecut flower like the one above, spritzed the TOP of the paper, laid it on top of the flower with the dots on it, built her sandwich and ran it through to emboss the flower, then ran an ink pad lightly over the top of the flower to make the dots pop:

Comparing the 2 flowers:

Here's one she did just with a grid of glossy accents:

The flower on the left is where she sketched her design and then covered it with glossy accents.  The flower on the right has been embossed and sanded.  Torrey used double sided white-core paper for this technique.

This is her free-form design:

And a comparison of the stencil and the embossed diecut:

Hope you'll pop back tomorrow night as we show you how to deboss a Spellbinder style die and how to change the embossed design in their dies!!!
