Which one is best???
Tombow called. They are interested in having me design for them. And I truly do love their tape runners - it's about all I use!
I use their Mono Aqua LIquid and like that just fine, for a wet glue.
What I didn't realize was that I also use their glue sticks!!! I just call them the "yellow sticks" LOL!!!
I was quite honest with the gal who was interviewing me and let her know that they just absolutely need to develop a product that works just like E6000 - but doesn't have the smell! I haven't found a thing yet. Have you? Tombow makes a Metal Liquid Glue. And it works if (and only if) both surfaces are flat. But when I diecut and emboss metal - well, that's not flat!!!
I knew that Tombow had markers, but I never knew they had a set of 96 colros. I might have to have this!!!
But then, again, I'm not so good at selling "me". I told the gal I would probably pester them to come up with some kind of airbrush system! Why can't I just be happy with what I have? NO, not me! I want more, I want it all, and I want it now! LOLOL!!!
It's a toss for me between the Zig 2 way squeeze & Roll, Sailor's 2 in 1 glue pen, and Zig's 2 way glue pen. I really like all 3 when it comes to fine line glue application. I've never tried Mono's glue pen. Hmmmm......
And I just saw that they have a white pen. Now, we all know I'm hooked on Ranger's white pen.....but I'm willing to try Mono's. Wonder where I can find one in Colorado!!!
And then there's the Mono Adhesive Dots Roller - the one Susan had out in San Diego. I like it because it goes on temporary, you can reposition stuff, but then it becomes permanent. Cool idea!
But you know, I'm wondering what we could do with colored glue? Would that be like colored glossy accents? LOL!!!
I truly do love my ATG gun....but it's way too big to take to crops or travel with. Sigh. Since I started in 2003, I've been on the lookout for good adhesives at a minimal cost. I tried duck brand - it just didn't last. I tried something else and the tape runners broke and jammed in every class I taught in - can't remember what that was. If you've taken classes from me, you know we pretty much use Tombow.
So whether they ask me to design for them or not.....I'd sell you their mono tape runners any day of the year!
