My first ever crystal "trophy"!!!

I am beyond impressed! I received my "trophy" for winning the "most inspirational" category at Amaco at CHA. I could not believe my eyes when I opened it up.....they etched my design into the award. How cool is that???

I'm now convinced that Amaco is the coolest company on the block!!! I've won contests before, and I've now had 152 pieces published in magazines and books.....but I've never received an award like this. It's about 8" in diameter. Beyond impressive! I'm going to have to figure out some cool way to display it so that everyone who walks through the front door is going to see it! LOL!!! And yes, I'm just going to let it go to my head for a couple of days and then I'll get over it! :o)

Everyone should be so lucky as to get a crystal etched award for their art! Sure makes the designing part fun!!!

Tomorrow at 4:55 am, we catch the shuttle to the airport and then we are off for 12 wonderful, glorious days on the beach in Mexico! I totally plan to blog every day from there....but if you don't see my posts, don't fret....I've probably had one too many margueritas!
